Safety in home

Today has been one of those days. The kids have been fighting all day. I'm 25 weeks pregnant and my nerves are running thin. I realized today that my youngest is the one who pushes my buttons the most. Both my boys are autistic. Opposite ends of the spectrum. I pray to God that tomorrow is a better day filled with patience. Today everyone yelled at everyone. I'm doing better but I want to do better. We gentle parent and every day I find new ways to do so.
Thanksgiving was awesome! Both kiddos had fun helping. They helped make deviled eggs. Their favorite part was helping Crack and peel the eggs. Jaxy ate some ham. So proud! He's never had it before, never tried it before. He did fantastic. Creedy has green bean casserole. Despite trying to get him to try turkey he didn't feel comfortable doing so. I'm just glad he ate something! A successful holiday!
Since I won't be posting over the holidays.... Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And happy black Friday to those who shops in stores.
Kids have been having a rough morning. Not sure why yet. Hope to find out soon.

Break

Apart from today's school day, there's 2 more days before break. It feels like November just started. I swear I feel like ima blink and it'll be January.

New baby

My brother and sister in law had their baby about a week ago. I cannot wait to meet him and for my boys to meet him as well. They love babies.

Haircuts

Both boys got a haircut last night. Just a trim.  My oldest, Creed, did great. Normally he freaks out and someone has to hold him still and such. But we did a different approach this time. I let him hold the clippers with me as I cut his hair. He was so much happier. No crying. Well, not until the end anyways. I had to get his ears some how 🤷 My youngest,Jax, was the opposite. Normally he's the calm one. Never Cries. He did with the hair cut. I offered the same as I did Creed. He didn't want to hold the clippers. Hopefully next time will be better 🤞
I hate it when kids aren't treated equally. Your grandkids shoukd all be treated the same. Not some loved more than others. It's stupid and bullcrap that my autistic boys have to go through something like this. I get it. You have 19 grandkids but that doesn't mean treated then different. You have 2 favorite kids so their kids are your favorite. That's cool. I see you. Ibsee what you're doing. My kids won't miss you. We don't need you. Neither do my kids.
Everyone is sick. Colds. My oldest, Creed, has a really bad cough. My youngest, soon to be middle child Jax, has a stuffy nose and achy body. I have a sore throat and a stuffy nose. My husband has a sore throat, a stuffy nose, and achy body. I wish people wouldn't send their kids to school while they are sick. Both my autistic boys have weak immune systems.
It's hard to believe that the school year is almost over again. Breaks are right around the corner. My oldest son's IEP meeting is coming up again. Time flies.
