Haircuts

 Both boys got a haircut last night. Just a trim. 

My oldest, Creed, did great. Normally he freaks out and someone has to hold him still and such. But we did a different approach this time. I let him hold the clippers with me as I cut his hair. He was so much happier. No crying. Well, not until the end anyways. I had to get his ears some how 🤷

My youngest,Jax, was the opposite. Normally he's the calm one. Never Cries. He did with the hair cut. I offered the same as I did Creed. He didn't want to hold the clippers. Hopefully next time will be better 🤞

 Some people are just blah.  We went to a family gathering today. Pies, food, water slid, and the works. There's always someone that has to ruin it. We had to leave early because he thinks he runs everything. If there weren't so many people there I would've said something.  Nonetheless, I am proud of myself for holding my tongue.  I have learned that my kids are watching. Sometimes it's better to leave instead of act.

 My heart hurts for my kiddos today. Despite it being my oldest birthday, I had to tell them that their grandma made others plans.  She does this all the time. She will tell me she will come grab my boys and then she'll make other plans.  My middle child asked me if she loved them less. I wanted to cry. I told him she loves you very much but she got busy. Something came up and she had to take care of it. As I sit there holding back tears, rage filled my heart. He gave me a hug and all of that disappeared.  My kids aren't bad kids just because they have disabilities. They are just kids. I wish people treated them as such.

 We are moving home!  For those who don't know, we reside in Kansas. I am from Arkansas. I am finally going home after being in Kansas for 9 years.  It's hard to leave my daughter's grave, but I'll be back every year on her birthday to visit.  We cant wait to go back home!
